What are the playgroups (jardins d’enfants) in Montreux?
Three communal playgroups: La Bergerette in Glion, La Trottinette in Clarens and La Ribambelle in Montreux. They take children from 30 months until school starts, from 8:00 to 12:00, for CHF 18 a morning. They close during school holidays. One parent with custody must live in Montreux or Veytaux. What care is there for children in 7P and 8P?
A supervised reception at the communal leisure centres, with a monitor who checks attendance: Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays 12:00–14:00 and 15:00–18:00, for the Montreux-Est and Rambert schools. Only if home is more than 2.5 km on foot from the school, counting 100 m of climb as 1 km. Those pupils get a free public-transport pass. The Commune publishes a map of the zones for each school. What is the holiday pass (Passeport vacances) in Montreux?
One activity or outing a day during the seven weeks of the summer holidays, on Tuesdays and Thursdays 8:30–16:00 and Wednesday mornings. It is for children from 7 with a parent living in Montreux, Veytaux, Villeneuve, Chessel, Noville, Rennaz or Roche.
