- The Montreux-Veytaux municipal library is on the ground floor of Cité-Centre, Grand’Rue 92, 021 963 33 29. It holds about 60,000 items: books, comics, magazines, CDs, audiobooks, DVDs and e-books. Opening hours are on the library’s own site.
- How much does it cost to join the Montreux library?
- CHF 20 to register. One account then lets you borrow free from both the library and the toy library.
- Is there a toy library in Montreux?
- Yes, La Ludo, Grand’Rue 90 in Cité-Centre, next to the library. It reopened on Wednesday 19 August and is open on Wednesday afternoons from 14:00 to 18:00 to begin with. It lends board games, toys, building games, retro video games, small vehicles and children’s costumes.
- How many games can I borrow from the toy library?
- With a personal account: two toys or games and one video game, for four weeks, renewable twice unless someone has reserved the item. Games are borrowed at the toy library but can be returned at the library.
