Privacy

This site has no account and no cookie. Its answers are never paid: businesses are listed in a separate section, where any paid listing is labelled. The two forms of the site (businesses, newcomers) send what you type to the publisher through Formspree (Formspree Inc., United States); it is used only to answer you, and is passed to a provider only if you say yes by e-mail. You can ask to see or delete it at the publisher’s address; the supervisory authority is the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC). The question box on the home page runs in your browser. When it finds no answer, the text of the question is sent to this site and kept for 180 days, so that the answer can be written: the text alone, cut at 200 characters, with no address, cookie or identifier. Do not type personal details in the box. Questions that find an answer are not sent anywhere. The paperclip and the microphone are tests: the file you attach is read inside your browser and is not uploaded; the microphone uses your browser’s speech recognition, which in some browsers sends the sound to the browser’s maker. The host (Cloudflare) keeps technical logs of requests, as any web host does.
