Where are the cemeteries in Montreux?: There are three: Clarens (Avenue Eugène-Rambert 27), the largest, where Vladimir Nabokov and Oskar Kokoschka are buried; Glion (Route des Avants); and Territet (Avenue de Naye). Can I rent a chalet or hut from the Commune of Montreux?: Yes, for groups: a former military hut at Bretaye in the Villars ski area (47 beds), a chalet in Leysin (59 beds, closed for works until the end of 2026), a refuge in Caux for parties from May to October (100 people), and a room for 50 in the Vallon de Villard.
